About The Unmentionables

This group of quick-witted, seasoned improvisers has been performing for 4 years throughout New England at bars, theaters, town halls, hotel conference rooms, crepe restaurants, bowling alleys, and even an abandoned Jazzercise studio. In November 2015 they became the MainStage long form improv troupe of Vermont Comedy Club, performing every Thursday at 9:00pm. ABOUT THE SPECIAL GUEST

Mia Troy-Vowell is the founder and owner/operator Oh My DOG, an award-winning dog day care, boarding and training facility in South Burlington.

Mia worked for over 15 years in the fields of marketing, advertising, public relations and communications, and holds a BSBA in marketing from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. After she and her husband Whitney encountered the conundrum many pet parents face of finding a suitable place to board their dogs, Mia decided to leave her career in marketing to open Oh My DOG.

Five years later, her dream has become a reality, and the business is a huge success. Mia was able to put her marketing experience to work; the business is known for their vibrant and engaged social media presence, boasting more than 77,000 Facebook followers. That presence, which includes plenty of photos and videos of furry guests, has enabled Oh my DOG to market itself successfully and attract business in the digital space.

Most days Mia can be found working the front desk at OMD; in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her own dogs and reading.
