ABOUT THE PERFORMER
JULIA DiFERDINANDO is an actress, comedian and writer from Burlington, Vermont. She studied Theater and Spanish at The University of Vermont before moving to Chicago in 2012 to pursue a career in comedy and writing. She arrived in Chicago with an internship at the prestigious mecca of comedy The Second City and from there she thrived in the comedy community of Chicago.
While continuing to study improv at other prestigious comedy theaters like iO and The Annoyance, Julia honed her skills as a comedian and writer while performing with independent teams.
In 2015, Julia performed comedy on the high seas aboard Norwegian Cruise Line for the better part of a year. Upon returning to Chicago, she took on a teaching position at The Second City, and she currently serves as a permanent understudy for Second City’s e.t.c. stage.
In 2016, Julia began the long process of breaking into screenwriting. With the help of many others, Julia wrote and co-produced independent film projects, which would become her true passion outside of improvisation. Follow her on all social media platforms: @juliadifer
