ABOUT THE SPECIAL GUEST
Angela Palm was raised in the rural Midwest and earned a BA in English Literature and a BS in Criminal Justice at Saint Joseph's College. Palm is the author of Riverine: A Memoir from Anywhere but Here, recipient of the 2014 Graywolf Press Nonfiction Prize (Graywolf Press, Aug. 2016). She is the editor of a book featuring work by Vermont writers, called Please Do Not Remove (Wind Ridge Books, 2014). She has taught creative writing at Champlain College, New England Young Writers' Conference, The Writers' Barn, The Porch (Nashville), and The Renegade Writers' Collective and is the recipient of a Bread Loaf Writers' Conference Fellowship in narrative nonfiction.
Palm's writing has appeared in or is forthcoming in Creative Nonfiction, Ecotone, Passages North, At Length Magazine, Entropy, Brevity, DIAGRAM, Essay Daily, Paper Darts, apt, SmokeLong Quarterly, Hippocampus Magazine, Midwestern Gothic, Little Fiction, Big Truths, Sundog Lit, and elsewhere. Her first book was short listed for the Vermont Book Award and an Indiana Author Award/Emerging Author Award. Her work has also been nominated for the Pushcart Prize in fiction and nonfiction, a Derringer Award, Best of the Net, and the Best Short Fictions anthology. She lives in Vermont.

About The Unmentionables
The Unmentionables are Vermont's premier long form improv team. This group of quick-witted, seasoned improvisers has been performing for 4 years throughout New England at bars, theaters, town halls, hotel conference rooms, crepe restaurants, bowling alleys, and even an abandoned Jazzercise studio. In November 2015 they became the MainStage long form improv troupe of Vermont Comedy Club, performing every Thursday night. The team has been featured at The Green Mountain Comedy Festival, The Hartford Improv Festival, The Montreal Improv Festival, The Providence Improv Festival, and The Del Close Marathon in NYC.

TICKETS: Vermont Comedy Club works with a will-call system, meaning we do not print physical tickets. To gain entry, simply check in at the box office the night of the show with your ticket confirmation (printout or phone) or a valid ID.
LATE ENTRY: Entering the room mid-show is distracting. Please be respectful and arrive on time! If you arrive at a show more than 30 minutes after the scheduled showtime, you WILL NOT be admitted and will not be issued a refund. (Unless otherwise indicated, doors open 30 minutes before showtime.)
AUDIENCE ETIQUETTE: We want EVERYONE to have a good time. We encourage you to laugh a lot and interact with performers when invited to do so.
