ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Big Pond Improv Festival returns, taking place Thurs, Sep 10 — Sun, Sep 13!
The festival will feature multiple nights of some of the most exciting, hilarious and varied improv comedy troupes in the country! We are looking forward to coming together to perform, learn, socialize, and celebrate the art of improv at Vermont Comedy Club.
Burlington, VT is one of the nicest places to be in the fall, and we can’t wait to see you. Let’s do this, friends!

To learn about our Covid-19 safety protocols, click here. If you are feeling sick, we ask that you please stay home! Simply email boxoffice@vtcomedy.com or call (802) 859-0100 and we will give you a credit to see a future show. (See cancellation policy below for more info.)
*** IMPORTANT TICKETING & POLICY INFO ***
TICKETS: VCC works with a will-call system, meaning we do not print physical tickets. To gain entry, simply check in at the box office the night of the show with your ticket confirmation (printout or phone) or a valid ID. NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM A THIRD PARTY WEBSITE. Our website and Box Office are the ONLY places that sell legitimate tickets to our shows.
LATE ENTRY: Entering the room mid-show is distracting. Please be respectful and arrive on time! If you arrive at a show more than 30 minutes after the scheduled showtime, you WILL NOT be admitted and will NOT be issued a refund.
AUDIENCE ETIQUETTE: We want EVERYONE to have a good time. We encourage you to laugh a lot and interact with performers when invited. During the show, do not chat at your table or shout unsolicited comments at performers. Disruptive patrons WILL BE EJECTED and will not receive a refund.
REFUNDS: We do not offer ticket refunds. The ONLY exception is if the venue or performer has to cancel or reschedule a show (in which case you will be given the option to receive a refund).
If you can no longer attend a show for any reason (illness, weather, unforeseen circumstances, etc.), you may:
- Transfer your ticket to another person who is able to attend, or
- Request a credit in our system to be used toward seeing a future show.
This must happen PRIOR to the scheduled show time by contacting the Box Office at boxoffice@vtcomedy.com or 802.859.0100. We cannot provide refunds OR credits to customers who contact us after the start time of the show.
We do NOT provide refunds due to dissatisfaction with the show.
