HOW TO APPLY
Interested in being in the show? Click here to apply here by April 1st – spots are limited! After you apply, Jenna will do her best to create matches for the live dating show. Chosen participants get into the show for free and have the chance to match with fellow singles and win date prizes. Participants are matched based on age, sexual orientation, relationship structure, interests, and more. All identities encouraged to apply!
HOW THE SHOW WORKS
Jenna is bringing back the classic Dating Game show from the 1960s! One “dater” and three potential matches are hidden from one another. The dater asks the potential matches a series of questions to determine who may be their best match. Gift card dates are awarded to the winning pairs.
There will also be interactive games, dating education, and mingling opportunities for partnered & single audience members to play, connect, and win prizes. Everyone has a chance to find new connections, and flirting is encouraged! The games and questions will range from sincere to unhinged. This is a live dating comedy show, after all. Let’s get freaky with it!
ABOUT THE HOST/PRODUCER
Jenna Emerson is a Master’s level, AASECT-certified sexuality educator who has worked in the sex ed field for over 10 years and as a comedian for nearly 20 years. She has been a college professor, teaching human sexuality and relationships, and has coached many adults in finding and building healthy romantic relationships. She loves creating spaces for community connection through humor and games in these trying times.

TICKETS: VCC works with a will-call system, meaning we do not print physical tickets. To gain entry, simply check in at the box office the night of the show with your ticket confirmation (printout or phone) or a valid ID. NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM A THIRD PARTY WEBSITE. Our website and Box Office are the ONLY places that sell legitimate tickets to our shows.
LATE ENTRY: Entering the room mid-show is distracting. Please be respectful and arrive on time! If you arrive at a show more than 30 minutes after the scheduled showtime, you WILL NOT be admitted and will NOT be issued a refund.
AUDIENCE ETIQUETTE: We want EVERYONE to have a good time. We encourage you to laugh a lot and interact with performers when invited. During the show, do not chat at your table or shout unsolicited comments at performers. Disruptive patrons WILL BE EJECTED and will not receive a refund.
REFUNDS: We do not offer ticket refunds. The ONLY exception is if the venue or performer has to cancel or reschedule a show (in which case you will be given the option to receive a refund).
If you can no longer attend a show for any reason (illness, weather, unforeseen circumstances, etc.), you may:
- Transfer your ticket to another person who is able to attend, or
- Request a credit in our system to be used toward seeing a future show.
This must happen PRIOR to the scheduled show time by contacting the Box Office at boxoffice@vtcomedy.com or 802.859.0100. We cannot provide refunds OR credits to customers who contact us after the start time of the show.
We do NOT provide refunds due to dissatisfaction with the show.
