ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Ashley Gavin is a stand up comedian based in New York City. She's been featured on Netflix is a Joke, Hulu, Comedy Central, but is best known for her viral crowd work videos on TikTok and her top charting podcast We’re Having Gay Sex.

Ashley is admired for her confidence, authenticity, and unrelenting energy on stage. She is the only angry lesbian beloved by all, including old, straight, white guys. If you don’t believe it, she was Carnival Cruise Line’s first openly gay comedian.

She exploded on the internet this year by showcasing her rare ability to authentically engage and improvise with guests on her podcast and audience members while on stage.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN/SHOW

Joyelle Nicole Johnson is a comedian and writer who brings joy to the stage. Joyelle made her network TV debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers and more recently performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon twice in one year.

Her first stand-up special Love Joy is available on Peacock. It was nominated for a Critics Choice Award, and is executive produced by Jimmy Fallon.

She was a staff writer for HBO’s Pause with Sam Jay and has done punchup for Broad City as well as Abbi and Ilana’s animated Comedy Central pilot Mall Town. She co-wrote a digital series for Illuminative, which she also stars in.

Her debut comedy album Yell Joy! was released on Juneteenth 2021.

She was the warm up comic for Hasan Minhaj’s talk show Patriot Act on Netflix and the permanent guest host for the Sirius XM radio show Godfrey Complex.

She has performed on Wyatt Cenac’s Night Train for SeeSo, This Week at the Comedy Cellar and Comics to Watch for Comedy Central, LaffMob for TruTV, was a panelist on Refinery 29/Facebook Watch’s After After Party and can be seen in Apple’s Helpsters, HBO’s Crashing, Search Party, Showtime’s Flatbush Misdemeanors and in the upcoming Netflix series Survival of the Thickest.

She made her off-broadway debut this past summer at the 59e59 production of The Panic of ‘29. She was selected for the 2018 FOX Comedy showcase, was a finalist in NBC’s Stand Up For Diversity Showcase and has performed at festivals like SF Sketchfest, Bonnaroo, The New York Comedy Festival and Bumbershoot. Vulture and NY Magazine named her one of the “comedians you should and will know in 2020”.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Brian Posehn has been busy for a while. As a writer/actor/stand-up comic, he doesn’t have a ton of down time. He just recorded his fourth hour-long stand-up special. He’s currently co-creating and starring in an upcoming cartoon for Nickelodeon with Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman.

Brian was an NSA intern on TruTV’s Top Secret Videos. You can also catch Brian on the popular Disney Plus show The Mandalorian, the acclaimed Netflix show Lady Dynamite, FX’s You’re The Worst and in his recurring roles on The Big Bang Theory and New Girl. He was one of the stars of Comedy Central's popular show, The Sarah Silverman Program. He has also appeared on such seminal sitcoms as Seinfeld, NewsRadio, Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends, The Neighborhood and a recurring role on Just Shoot Me.

In the sketch comedy world he’s known as one of the writers and performers on HBO's acclaimed Mr. Show, in 2015 he co-produced Odenkirk and Cross’s return to sketch with the Netflix hit, With Bob and David. He was featured in the films, Devil’s Rejects and The Five Year Engagement. In 2015, he starred in the dark, indie comedy, Uncle Nick. In stand-up comedy he’s known as one of the original members of the Comedians of Comedy. He’s released two half hour specials for Comedy Central, four comedy albums and three hour long specials -The Fartist, Criminally Posehn and 25 X 2.

In Voice-Acting he’s done everything from Scooby Doo to a recent role on The Simpsons. He starred on the animated shows, Mission Hill and 3 South and has turned up in Adventure Time, American Dad, Bob’s Burgers and Steven Universe, to name a few. His voice was featured in the 2017 Dreamworks Animated comedy, Captain Underpants.

In the last several years he’s also been able to produce and host a popular D&D comedy podcast, Nerd Poker and co-write 45 issues of the best-selling Marvel comic book series Deadpool. In 2018 he released his first book, Forever Nerdy.

In 2019, he completed a comedy metal album Grandpa Metal, featuring metal legends from Anthrax, Dethklok, Slayer and Soundgarden. Grandpa Metal was released to rave reviews in the metal world in February of 2020. In May, he was featured on Celebrity Worst Cooks on Food Network.

He currently has a weekly two hour show spinning his favorite meta songs on GimmeMetal.com. In 2021, he plans to compete on American Ninja Warrior, Top Chef and So You Think You Can Dance. After he breaks TMZ and the Internet, when footage of him beating up a narwhal surfaces, he plans to quit showbiz.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Alex recently wrapped a six-season run on Saturday Night Live as a main cast member. He is best known for his impersonations of Joe Biden, Eric Trump, Mark Zuckerberg, Anderson Cooper, Joe Scarborough amongst others, as well as his prolific original recurring Weekend Update character ‘Guy Who Just Bought A Boat’.

Alex appeared in the indie SUSIE SEARCHES which recently appeared at TIFF as well as HOLIDATE for Netflix, the live action hybrid feature CLIFFORD for Paramount, SOMEONE GREAT for Netflix and the indie OPENING ACT. He recently wrapped on the feature film, BREWMANCE, alongside Kennedy McMann as well as SUMMER OF 69, alongside Chloe Fineman for Hulu.

On the television side Alex can be seen in Bill Lawrence’s BAD MONKEY alongside Vince Vaughn now streaming on Apple TV+. He can also be seen in Showtime’s BILLIONS. Alex has lent his voice as the role of JIMMY in Disney's sequel WRECK-IT RALPH 2 as well as the upcoming DARIA re-boot for Paramount.

Spending the earlier years of his career in Chicago, he was a regular performer at iO and The Annoyance Theatre as well as an official acro-dunker for the renowned Chicago Bulls. He played in the Celebrity All-Star game in February 2020.

On Broadway, Alex can recently be seen opposite Eric McCormack in last summer’s run of THE COTTAGE opposite Eric McCormack for director Jason Alexander. This fall, Alex can be seen in the off-Broadway Lucky Chap Entertainment production of THE BIG GAY JAMBOREE.

Good Clean Fun! is an interactive and FUN improvised comedy show for the whole family! It happens every month, and features some of VCC's most seasoned improv performers. Bring the kids and laugh out loud!

HELPFUL INFO FOR PARENTS: Shows happen once per month on a Saturday, and typically last just under an hour. There are opportunities for kids to get onstage during the show and play games with performers (but they're never pressured to do so). The show is high energy and silly, but does not have loud or unexpected noises or lighting changes. Food and drink are available, and our lounge is open if you need space to duck out with a crying baby. ;) See you at the show!

CP Smith is a small but mighty elementary school in the New North End of Burlington. With the direct support of the Parent-Teacher Organization at the school, teachers are able to purchase more materials for engaging classroom activities and take students on field trips for experiential hands-on learning, and the school is able to strengthen community with guest speakers, performances and events like the annual school play. This means more equitable learning opportunities for all CP Smith students. Your support will help give their students the best learning experience during these critical years in their lives.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Amy Silverberg is a writer and comedian based in Los Angeles. Her stand-up comedy has been featured on Comedy Central, Hulu, NPR, and Amazon Prime. She was also selected as a "New Face" at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

Amy's debut novel "First Time, Long Time" is forthcoming from Grand Central Publishing in 2024. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Southern California, where she teaches.

Her work has appeared in The Paris Review, The New Yorker, The New York Times, TriQuarterly, The Southern Review, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and many other publications. Her short story "Suburbia!" appeared in Best American Short Stories 2018 – edited by Roxanne Gay.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

Shannon O'Neill performed at UCB for over two decades. She performed with The Stepfathers, the longest running house team, and hosted and produced Asssscat for close to a decade. She currently performs every Sunday in RaaaatScraps at Caveat NYC.

You may recognize her from Broad City, High Maintenance, Difficult People, The Chris Gethard Show, Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter, Man Seeking Woman, or feature film Women Who Kill. Rolling Stone called her "effortlessly funny" and the Hollywood Reporter called her "A very good Shannon O'Neill."

Sebastian Conelli is a NY-based comedian from Staten Island. He’s a cawfee from Dunkin kind of guy.

Sebastian has appeared as a blue-collar worker on TV shows such as Search Party, The Last OG, and The Detour. He has almost said a full sentence between all of them.

He co-hosts a podcast called Loud About Nothing.

Shane Neilson is an improviser, motion designer, and trailblazer originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 

He has improvised around NY with UCB and Rumpleteaser Musical Improv.

He also has a master's in Speech-Language Pathology. Fun!

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Madelein Murphy is an internationally touring comedian based in New York City. She is known and respected for her fast paced crowd work, charming stage presence, and relatable life stories. She has been performing comedy for a decade, and in that time she has headlined numerous colleges, comedy clubs, and cruise ships. She is also a paid regular at many prominent NYC clubs. She has opened for Guy Torry, Clayton English, Maria Bamford, Emma Willman, Judy Gold, and countless others.

Her debut album, Belle of the Ball, rose to #1 on the iTunes charts the day it premiered. She has been featured on Amazon Prime and Comedy Central, and currently has a network pilot in development.

She has also gone viral a few times on Tik Tok in an attempt to stay relevant with the youth! She co-hosts a fun gay podcast called Cheers for Queers with her pal Sarah Garner.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Alex Kumin is an NYC based comedian by way of Chicago and Boston whose bold and whip smart standup delights crowds across the US. She is a favorite at The Comedy Cellar as well as New York Comedy Club, where she runs the monthly new jokes show: The Long Shot with Alex Kumin.

You've seen her on the 2023 NYC Don’t Tell Comedy series, NBC’s "That Clip Show: Holiday Edition”, and the 2021 season of Comedy Central Standup Featuring.

She has also participated in Gilda's Laughfest - Best of the Midwest, NBC Universal's Breakout Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival and Limestone Comedy Festival.

Greg Stone is one of New York’s most respected comedians; a regular at the Comedy Cellar, on the Jim & Sam show, The Bennington Show, AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, TruTV and SiriusXM Radio.

He was a staff writer on Michelle Wolf’s White House Correspondents Dinner as well as working with Michelle on The Break on Netflix. He has been featured on FOX’s Red Eye and America’s Got Talent. He’s been seen on James Corden’s Late Late Show, but most know him from his podcasts Greg Stoned, The Rad Dude Cast and Friday Night Greg.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

LUCAS ZELNICK is a stand-up comedian born, raised, and based in New York City, who challenges his cushy upbringing through punch-heavy material.

Lucas’s stand-up clips have exploded online, where he has received over 100M views and 800K followers across social media platforms.

In 2022, Lucas established a strong baseline for himself as a touring comedian, selling out 8 shows at Zanies Chicago. That same year, he appeared in SF Sketchfest and as a guest on Amazon Prime Video’s Sports Talk. 2023 and 2024 were breakout years for Lucas: he taped a secret set with Don't Tell Comedy, made his Comedy Central debut for Season 14 of Comedy Central Stand-Up Featuring, and headlined multiple comedy festivals--including the New York Comedy Festival, Netflix is a Joke Festival, and the prestigious Moontower Comedy Festival.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Leslie Liao is a stand-up comedian, actress, and writer. Audiences around the world have been drawn to her relatable, introspective, and matter-of-fact style of humor which is often anchored around her experiences as a single Chinese-American woman living in Los Angeles.

Leslie was recently selected to be a New Face of Comedy at Montreal's prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2023, and her debut set on Don't Tell Comedy platforms, “Fixing Straight Men,” debuted boldly on YouTube with clips from her set going viral on Instagram and TikTok.

She will next be seen in the new multi-comic standup series on Netflix called “Verified Standup” which will debut on the platform later in 2023. Leslie has toured with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Fortune Feimster, and can often be seen in Los Angeles gracing the stages of The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory, Flappers, and many more.

Mary Beth played a lead role in THE ANNE FRANK GIFT SHOP, which was shortlisted for an Oscar in 2024 in the live action short category.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Adam Conover is a comedian and the creator, writer and star of the hit series ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING, an educational comedy that dispels common misconceptions. The New York Times calls it “one of history’s most entertaining shows dedicated to the art of debunking” and refers to Adam as a “genial provocateur.”

On YouTube, his videos have amassed millions of views. In 2022, his new series THE G WORD is premiering on Netflix. Produced in partnership with Barack Obama’s Higher Ground Productions, it pulls the curtain back on how the federal government works using comedy and documentary storytelling.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Langston Kerman is an LA based actor, comedian, and writer. Langston’s hour-long comedy special “Bad Poetry”, directed and produced by John Mulaney, will be released August 20^th on Netflix.

In TV, Langston starred as ‘Langston’ in Bust Down (Peacock/Universal), a series that he also Executive Produced/Co-Created with Sam Jay, Chris Redd and Jak Knight with Broadway Video producing. He was the head writer/one of the Executive Producers of PAUSE with Sam Jay (HBO), which was nominated for a WGA award for its first and second seasons. He also wrote for 2 seasons of South Side (HBO Max).

On screen Langston will next be seen recurring on the upcoming FX series English Teacher. He also recently appeared on John Mulaney’s Everybody’s In LA (Netflix) which he also wrote for. Langston sold and is developing a pilot at FX that he will co-write with Nick Kroll. He’s also developing a pilot with Jonah Hill’s Strong Baby Productions and A24.

His other credits include a recurring role as ‘Jesse’ in the Hulu/Onyx series The Other Black Girl, based on the novel of the same name, a recurring role as ‘Eagle The Archer’ in The Boys (Amazon), starring alongside Lake Bell and Dax Shepard as ‘Brandon’ on the Bless This Mess (ABC), recurring as ‘Jared’ on Insecure (HBO) and recurring opposite Gina Rodriguez in Not Dead Yet (ABC).

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Kyle is an Emmy, Peabody and Writer’s Guild Award winning comedy writer. He also won an Emmy for the most outstanding original music for the song “Girl You Don’t Need Make Up”. Kyle recently starred in the new Jerry Seinfeld movie "Unfrosted" as both Johnny Carson and Walter Cronkite, along with a new cartoon series starring Adam Carolla.

Kyle can also be heard regularly on the Howard Stern Show and the Adam Carolla Podcast, doing various impressions. Kyle has a significant online presence with over 1.3 million followers and was featured in The New York Times Best Comedy of 2018. Kyle starred in several sketches on the hit Comedy Central show “Inside Amy Schumer”. He also recurred on “Reno 911” as Craig a.k.a The Truckee River Killer, and worked as a series regular and writer on FOX’s “Cedric the Entertainer Presents”.

ABOUT THE COMEDIAN

Actress and Comedian Rachel Feinstein is a favorite among fans and fellow comedians alike. Named one of Variety’s “10 Comics To Watch” of 2024, her Netflix standup special Big Guy premiered in May 2024 on the streamer’s list of Top 10 TV Shows in the U.S. where it remained for over a week.
